Jim and Camille Auer, along with Megan Auer worked with and volunteered with Chances 4 Children in Scottsdale raising funds through matching gifts and a direct grant. They participated in a trip to Haiti visiting the schools and children benefiting from the gifts. The grant was for two teacher trainings at sponsored schools in Haiti. 25 educators were given the tools and knowledge to reshape their classrooms.

Steve put together a grant to Youth Emerging Stronger for two new washers and dryers for homes providing shelter to runaway teens.

Ellie obtained a grant providing partial funding for a Baby Basics van to deliver diapers to families in need.

Julie Hawkins is a board member for Space of Her Own and Brittany Auer secured a grant to help facilitate in-person meetings for some of the 900 new mentor-mentee pairs, enrolled as the Class of 2022.

St. Joseph’s School of Nursing is one of the most respected and competitive programs in the Syracuse area. Carolyn worked on a grant for equipment for the hands-on learning center. Peggy Auer graduated from St. Joe’s nursing school. The advancements with technology in both medicine and education have been tremendous, and this support helps the schoo continue to provide accurate training.
